Audition Notice for

"The Lifespan of a Fact"

We are pleased to offer, "The Lifespan of a Fact" by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell, and directed by Kelly Thompson as our final Naked Stage production of this season

Jim Fingal is a fresh-out-of-Harvard fact checker for a prominent but sinking New York magazine. John D’Agata is a talented writer with a transcendent essay about the suicide of a teenage boy—an essay that could save the magazine from collapse. When Jim is assigned to fact check D’Agata’s essay, the two come head to head in a comedic yet gripping battle over facts versus truth.

Roles include:
EMILY PENROSE - late 40's - 60's, Editor-in-Chief 
JIM FINGAL - mid 20's, a fresh out of Harvard fact checker
( please note that the third role of JOHN D'AGATA has been cast)

Audition -  Saturday, April 27th, 11:00 – 4:00 at  Newton Cultural Centre, 13530-72 Ave. Surrey
Rehearsals -  Tuesday evenings. April 30 – June 4, 6:30 – 9:15, tech run June 6, 5:30 – 9:30
Performances  June 7 and 8 at 7:30 and June 9 at 2:00 
(All Rehearsals and Performances take place at the Newton Cultural Centre
Actors who are cast must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances and must join Naked Stage Productions Society as a member if not already.)

Sides will be emailed to you prior to the audition day however there is no need to memorize sides. Deadline to request a time is end of day April 25th , however we urge actors to respond earlier, since time slots are limited. Please contact the Producer/Director with any questions.
