Audition Notice for "In the Cards"

Naked Stage is pleased to offer "In the Cards" by Caroline Russell- King and directed by Colleen McGoff Dean as our first show to kick off the 2025/2026 season.
Synopsis: A reluctant psychic’s powers cause her no end of troubles in her romance with the man she knows she is going to marry even though he is fighting it tooth and nail. (Being a psychic isn't all it's cracked up to be.)

Roles available include:
RIVKA (female late forties, early fifties) She has evolved into a very together, independent woman about to go into business for herself.
ROBERT (male late forties, early fifties) A very intelligent man, who became a good policeman.
TONY  (male, fifteen to seventeen) He is bright, witty and has a good sense of who he is.

Auditions (as well as rehearsals and performances) takes place at Newton Cultural Centre, 13530-72 Ave. Surrey on September 27th  from 11:00 - 4:00 pm.

Rehearsals run weekly on Tuesday evenings  from September 30 - November 4 from 6:30 - 9:15 pm., with a tech rehearsal on Thursday November 6 from 5:30 - 9:30pm. Actors cast also need to be available to participate in the White Rock Arts Crawl (where we will showcase our rehearsal process on Saturday October 4 from 10:30 - 2:00).
Performances run November 7 and 8 at 7:30 pm and November 9 at 2:00 pm.

Actors who are cast must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances and must become a member of Naked Stage Society (f not already a member).
