Audition Notice for 

"The Jigsaw Puzzle"
 

Synopsis: Ruby has been forced to close her Stratford B & B because of her sister Gracie's dementia. But when a man calls to say he's coming up for the theatre and needs a place to stay, money no object, she's persuaded to let him in. Over the weekend, the pieces of the jigsaw are put in, one by one. The past is confronted, the question raised: is being born into a family enough to make you part of it?

Roles include: 
Ruby – female, 70+ strong willed and direct, sister of Gracie

Gracie – female, 70+ sweet, suffering from dementia, sister of Ruby

Douglas – male, middle aged high school principal
 

Auditions (as well as rehearsals and performances) takes place at Newton Cultural Centre, 13530-72 Ave. Surrey on Saturday, March 14th  from 11:00 - 4:00 pm.

Rehearsals run weekly on Tuesday evenings  from March 17 – April 21 from 6:30 - 9:15 pm., with a tech rehearsal on Thursday April 23 from 5:30 - 9:30pm. 

Performances run April 24 and 25 at 7:30 pm and April 26 at 2:00 pm.

Actors who are cast must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances and must become a member of Naked Stage Productions Society (f not already a member).

Audition sides will be sent out prior to the audition and the deadline to schedule a time is March 12th.
